Indigenous Wiki Foundation is a subsidiary of Indigenous Exchange Non-Profit of Canada.

Mission Statement

The goal is to make accessible all of the information that Indigenous First Nations People in Canada may desire to help facilitate better comprehension or access to resources for their economic developmental, governance, or services needs. A central repository of resources and support will greatly benefit the target audience in accommodating their needs, compiling and filing forms with agencies and grant-givers.

Purpose

The purpose of the wiki proposed is to collect and disseminate information about the resources available for Indigenous First Nations People in Canada; This includes, but is not limited to, the governing bodies, Tribal Councils, Regional Chiefs, and Provincial, Territorial and Federal agencies. The intention is to create a repository of information, documentation, resources and connections to help facilitate access to those resources for any and all interested parties.

Progress

The collection and consolidation of the information planned to be shared has begun today, Friday, June 13, 2025.

I am also working on building data on the Organizational Charts and flows for the various hierarchies of assemblies, chiefs, forums, tribal councils, and government agencies INAC/NIHB.

Historical and legal doctrine such as Treaties, signatories, Acts and otherwise will also be intended to be documented here.
